An MP3 was used for the video editing initially because I wanted to make sure it wasn't as taxing to the PC cpu as I was editing video. The main audio was an MP3 file that had been mastered previously. Once in correct placement, addition clips could be made and placed in any desirable point, knowing it was on the right timecode. Because of this, multiple tracks were laid out for this video so it could be cut and pulled into it's correct position. This footage was considerably longer and had multiple takes. Again, the original music was used as a sync track so the video could be lined up easily when it came time to import this video into our Vegas Pro project.
